2019-20 School Year Allocations for Direct Diversion
Agencies receiving USDA foods through the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) can select Direct Diversion processing for receiving finished end-products. Direct diversion processing is the process of sending selected bulk raw USDA foods directly to selected processors to process into finished end-products. With this option, each participating agency is directly responsible for selecting their processors and choosing the finished end-products through a procurement process. WiSNP has secured bid renewals for the 2019-2020 school year. For planning purposes, a list of all Preferred and Acceptable products has been compiled. You can use this list to help review menus and identify items you wish to order. The GFS planning sheet (see below) has been modified for WiSNP products. Please use this spreadsheet to calculate your direct diversion allocations.

The button above links to the GFS planner with WiSNP designations for your planning use. The green text signifies items that will be designated "Preferred" in the new order guide. The blue text items will be designated "Acceptable" in the new order guide. All WiSNP members are encouraged to review the items, and consider selecting the preferred and acceptable items whenever possible. After you have completed the planner, please save a copy of this excel spreadsheet and send to wisnp@proteam advisors.com.
